A new group excursion to Luxor designed to show a different side of the ancient city beyond the classic Luxor program.

The tour focuses on Luxor Temple, the Avenue of Sphinxes, Medinet Habu, the Colossi of Memnon, the Tombs of the Nobles, and a visit to the Banana Island area.

Itinerary

Departure from Hurghada

• Hotel pickup around 4:00 AM.
• Exact pickup time is provided after booking.
• Drive to Luxor takes approximately 4 hours.

Luxor Temple

Visit the impressive Luxor Temple, located in the heart of ancient Luxor and associated with the worship of Amun.

Avenue of Sphinxes

Walk along the historic Avenue of Sphinxes, created during the 30th Dynasty. The original avenue contained approximately 1,350 sphinx statues.

Nile Crossing

Cross the Nile by motorboat.

Lunch

Enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant on the Nile.

Medinet Habu

Visit the large funerary temple of Ramesses III, famous for its well-preserved reliefs depicting his military victories.

Colossi of Memnon

Visit the two huge stone statues representing Amenhotep III.

Tombs of the Nobles

Visit the Tombs of the Nobles, a less-touristy necropolis containing the tombs of important officials and state figures.

Banana Island

A motorboat trip to the banana grove is available as an optional activity.

Additional cost: $10, paid directly to the guide.

Return

• Departure from Luxor around 5:00–6:00 PM.
• Expected arrival at the hotel around 10:00 PM.

The order of the itinerary can change according to the guide and visitor flow at the attractions.

Transportation is provided by a comfortable air-conditioned bus with:

If there aren’t enough participants for the program, the operator may transfer guests to a minibus in Luxor.
