Overview
A two-day group excursion from Hurghada combining Super Luxor + Dendera and New Luxor in one comprehensive program.
The tour covers many of Luxor’s most important ancient Egyptian attractions, including Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Dendera Temple, Avenue of Sphinxes, Hatshepsut Temple, Medinet Habu, Colossi of Memnon and the Tombs of the Nobles.
Guests spend the night in a 2–3 star hotel in Luxor, with the opportunity to explore Luxor independently in the evening.

Day 1 – Super Luxor & Dendera
Departure from Hurghada: around 4:00 AM.
- Drive to Dendera — approximately 4 hours.
- Visit the unique Temple of Hathor at Dendera.
- Continue to Luxor.
- Visit Karnak Temple, including the Sacred Lake and Scarab.
- Cross the Nile by boat.
- Buffet lunch at a restaurant on the Nile.
- Visit Hatshepsut Temple.
- Visit the Colossi of Memnon.
- Optional motorboat trip to Banana Island — +$10.
- Arrival at the Luxor hotel around 5:00–6:00 PM.
- Free evening to explore Luxor and have dinner independently.
Day 2 – New Luxor
For guests who want the optional balloon ride:
- Departure around 5:00 AM
- Hot Air Balloon — +$60/person
- Balloon flight lasts approximately 30–40 minutes and depends on weather conditions.
Then:
- Breakfast at the hotel around 8:00 AM.
- Visit Luxor Temple.
- Walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes.
- Cross the Nile by motorboat.
- Buffet lunch.
- Possible visit to an Alabaster Factory and Perfume Factory.
- Visit Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III.
- Visit Colossi of Memnon.
- Optional Banana Island boat ride — +$10.
- Visit the Tombs of the Nobles.
- Leave Luxor around 5:00–6:00 PM.
- Arrive back at the Hurghada hotel around 10:00 PM.
Important Information
The order of the itinerary may change depending on the guide and visitor flow.
The hot-air-balloon flight is not guaranteed because it can be cancelled due to weather or other operational conditions. If the flight doesn’t take place, the balloon payment is refunded.
Transportation is normally by a comfortable air-conditioned bus with two drivers, security and a toilet. On the second day, if there aren’t enough participants for New Luxor, transportation inside Luxor may be changed to a minibus.
