Itinerary
Early Morning – Departure from Hurghada
Hotel pickup is arranged in the early morning. The drive from Hurghada to Luxor takes approximately 4 hours.
Karnak Temple
Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple complex, one of the largest ancient religious complexes in the world.
Nile Crossing
Cross the Nile by motorboat to the West Bank.
Lunch
Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
Hatshepsut Temple
Visit the famous temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built at the foot of the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.
Colossi of Memnon
Stop at the two monumental statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Banana Island – Optional
A motorboat trip to the Banana Grove can be purchased directly from the guide for $10.
Return to Hurghada
Departure from Luxor is approximately 5:00–5:30 PM, with arrival at the hotel around 10:00 PM. The order of the activities may change depending on the guide and visitor flow
Additional Information
Transportation is provided by a comfortable air-conditioned bus with two drivers, security and a toilet.
If there are not enough bookings for the Standard Luxor program, guests may be combined with the Luxor program that visits the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. Guests who did not purchase those visits wait on the bus while the others visit the valleys.
Transfer Supplement
For El Gouna and Sahl Hasheesh, there is a +$10 round-trip vehicle supplement, for up to 6 people per booking; the transfer may be shared.
