Paradise Island – Hula-Hula

Paradise Island’s Hula-Hula beach area is a sea excursion from Hurghada combining a relaxing beach day with snorkeling and optional diving.

The Hula-Hula area has bean-bag seating under umbrellas, photo spots including a hammock, swing and benches, a snack and drinks bar, and a souvenir shop.

The trip starts with a boat ride from Hurghada. During the journey, guests can enjoy views of Hurghada from the sea and the surrounding islands. Free drinks and lunch are served on the yacht.

At Hula-Hula beach, guests can swim, relax under palm-covered umbrellas, enjoy the Red Sea scenery, and ride an inflatable banana boat.

Diving Details

The diving option includes one dive of up to 15 minutes per person, including preparation, with a maximum depth of approximately 7 meters.

Diving may sometimes take place from a neighboring yacht when the boats are anchored at the reef.

The diving can be cancelled on the day because of insufficient demand or group-size limitations. If this happens, the guest should request the refund locally and contact the booking department.

The page specifically notes that these are reefs along the route and are not necessarily the best choice for guests whose primary goal is serious diving.

Important Information

• Recommended days: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
• These days generally have more Russian-speaking groups.
• Snorkeling stops can sometimes be replaced by one longer stop of approximately 1.5–2 hours depending on weather and other conditions.
• Passport photos for all participants are required for the tourist-police diving permit.
• If you decline the diving on the day of the excursion, the program price remains unchanged.
• Banana boat rides may be cancelled because of weather or marine-police restrictions, without changing the tour price.
• Do not go upstairs to the upper deck while wet; dry yourself first for safety.

Paradise vs. Orange Bay
